Maintenance Repair and Upgrade Tutorial
After downloading the sheet and opening in your preferred editor, you may need to enable editing to allow for full use of the sheet.
This workbook has multiple sheets and is designed to categorize and track maintenance and spending. It is a place to log vital boat information.
The first tab is the cover page. It graphs the over money spent on maintenance, repairs and upgrades.

The maintenance sheet is used for any items that are serviced such as oil changes, cleaning strainers and other routine items you check on your boat.

The repair sheet is items that can be repaired outside of normal maintenance. Broken hose clamps, screws or other fasteners. This also included items that may need to be replaced due to wear and tear or failure, like electric motor brushes or broken belts.

The upgrades sheet is to log all new items installed on the boat that are outside of being a necessity. Like new chart plotters, cameras, stereos, window treatments and so. A new oil pressure sender is needed, but switching from analog to digital fuel gauges is not. The oil pressure sender would be a repair item, but the fuel senders are an upgrade.

The remaining sheets are to collect and store information about your boat like, engine serials numbers, oil capacities, tank specification and other information you may need or want to keep track of.
